The latter award is usually awarded to dominating big players because of their sheer size, but the fact that Robertson, a 6’3″ guard, won it shows how exceptional he was. Wilt Chamberlain has 27.2 rebounds per game (1961)

Wilt Chamberlain has set another another NBA record. Nearly the course of his career, the dominating center averaged 22.9 rebounds per game, but in 1961, he averaged over 27 rebounds per game. In the same season, he averaged 38.4 points per game while playing 47.8 minutes per game. Chamberlain would go on to score 50.4 points per game and 25.7 rebounds per game the following season, completing an unrivaled career.

With the Jazz, John Stockton never missed a postseason game, twice reaching the Finals, and forming one of the greatest duos in NBA history with Karl Malone. Stockton also has the most assists and steals among all players, with his greatest playmaking season being in 1990. The Hall of Fame point guard averaged 14.5 assists per game, with Karl Malone, who had a career-high 31.0 points per game, receiving the bulk of his passes.
