“Poe Dameron and BB-8 must make an emergency landing on the volcanic planet Mustafar after the events of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, where they encounter the greedy and cunning Graballa the Hutt.” The criminal lord has bought Darth Vader’s castle and is transforming it into the galaxy’s first all-inclusive Sith-inspired luxury hotel. Poe, BB-8, Graballa, and Dean (a brave and daring young kid who works as Graballa’s mechanic) travel deep inside the mystery castle with Vader’s faithful servant, Vaneé, while waiting for his X-Wing to be repaired.

Vaneé tells three scary tales about ancient relics and famous villains from all eras of Star Wars along the way. A nefarious plot develops as Vaneé tells his stories and draws our heroes further into the castle’s dark underbelly. Poe and BB-8 will have to confront their anxieties with the aid of Dean, stop an ancient evil from emerging, and flee to go back to their companions.”

Poe Dameron is played by Jake Green, Dean is played by Raphael Alejandro, Graballa the Hutt is played by Dana Snyder, and Vaneé is played by Tony Hale. Ren is played by Christian Slater, Emperor Palpatine is played by Trevor Devall, and NI-L8 is played by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn. Ken Cunningham is the director and David Shayne is the writer. Executive producers include Shayne, James Waugh, Josh Rimes, Jacqui Lopez, Jill Wilfert, Keith Malone, and Jason Cosler. In cooperation with Atomic Cartoons, the special was created.

Other LEGO Star Wars specials have been released, and they’ve even touched on holidays in the Star Wars world. The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special, an animated sequel to the iconic Star Wars Holiday Special, was published only last year by Disney. Although the Star Wars series has recognized the Christmas holiday season, Terrifying Tales will be the franchise’s first official Halloween special. Is a Thanksgiving special on the way?

Meanwhile, on the live-action front for Star Wars on Disney+, things are going swimmingly. The first season of the highly anticipated series The Book of Boba Fett just completed shooting, and that’s something more that many fans are anticipating. There’ll be a lot more of The Mandalorian in the future. Though Pedro Pascal is currently filming The Last of Us in Canada, his co-star Giancarlo Esposito has confirmed that season 3 of The Mandalorian will begin filming soon.

On October 1, 2021, LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales will debut exclusively on Disney+. The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special is also available on the streaming service. This information comes from the Star Wars official website.
