A Shared Album is an album that you can create and share with others. Once you’ve created a Shared Album, anyone you invite can view, add comments, and add their own photos and videos. Creating a Shared Album

To create a Shared Album, you need an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch running iOS 8.1 or later. You also need to sign in to iCloud with your Apple ID and turn on iCloud Photo Sharing.

1. Open the Photos app and tap the Albums tab.

2. Tap the Add button.

3. Tap New Shared Album.

4. Type a name for your Shared Album, then tap Next.

5. Choose who can see the photos and videos in your Shared Album, then tap Create.

If you want to add people later, tap People in the upper-right corner of the Shared Album, then tap Add People.

Adding Photos and Videos to a Shared Album

After you create a Shared Album, you can add photos and videos at any time. To add photos and videos from your device:

1. Open the Photos app and tap the Albums tab.

2. Tap the Shared Album that you want to add photos to.

3. Tap the Add button.

4. Select the photos and videos that you want to add, then tap Done.

If you want to add photos and videos from iCloud:

1. Open the Photos app and tap the Albums tab.

2. Tap the Shared Album that you want to add photos to.

3. Tap the Add button.

4. Tap iCloud Photos, then select the photos and videos that you want to add. If you don’t see iCloud Photos, tap More, then turn on iCloud Photo Sharing.

5. Tap Done.

How to Delete Shared Albums on Iphone

You can delete a Shared Album that you created at any time. When you delete a Shared Album, all of the photos and videos in it are also deleted.

1. Open the Photos app and tap the Albums tab.

2. Tap the Shared Album that you want to delete, then tap the People icon in the upper-right corner.

3. Tap Leave Shared Album.

4. Tap Delete Shared Album to confirm.

If you’re the owner of a Shared Album, you can delete it at any time by following these steps:

1. Open the Photos app and tap the Albums tab.

2. Tap the Shared Album that you want to delete.

3. Tap the People icon in the upper-right corner.

4. Tap Leave Shared Album.

5. Tap Delete Shared Album to confirm.

Accessing the Shared Photo Library

The Shared Photo Library is a feature that allows you to share your entire photo library with another person. To use the Shared Photo Library, you need an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch running iOS 8.1 or later. You also need to sign in to iCloud with your Apple ID and turn on iCloud Photo Sharing.

To access the Shared Photo Library:

1. Open the Photos app and tap the Albums tab.

2. Tap the Shared Album that you want to access.

3. Tap the People icon in the upper-right corner.

4. Tap Add People, then enter the email address of the person that you want to add.

5. Tap Send.

The person that you added will now have access to your entire photo library. To remove someone from the Shared Photo Library, follow the steps in the section “Deleting a Shared Album.”

Shared Albums are a great way to keep your friends and family up-to-date on your life. They’re also a great way to share photos and videos from events, like weddings and vacations. Shared Albums are private, so only the people that you invite can see the photos and videos in them. And because they’re stored in iCloud, you can access them from any of your devices.
