Today I’ll teach you a trick that will save you lots of time and give this game an edge. I made this for my friends first but now it seems obvious to me. Maybe its just because this is the first GTA game with online mode, but maybe not everyone knows about this so I decided to tell you.

You can also now buy ammo for your weapons by putting the weapon in your weapon wheel and pressing down on the D-Pad. For those of you who like to play stealthily, there is now a key-binding for ‘Enter Silent Mode’.

You don’t need to go into any shops or anywhere else than your apartment in GTA Online anymore. This trick only applies to the Xbox 360  version, but I suppose there might be a similar thing on PS3 too so let me know if you find one.

So how does this work? Well, once you’ve bought the apartment and logged into it at least once, you’ll get a message from Lester telling you to go to his house. There he will tell you about a mission where you have to deliver a car for him. So get in your apartment, drive outside and get into the mission marker and drive the car there.

Now, as soon as you deliver the car, don’t “end mission” (by driving to a safe zone or simply getting out of your car). Keep driving straight ahead and eventually you’ll get a message from Lester saying that you can now store any car in your storage facility. Now drive back to your apartment and just put it inside the marker, that’s all you have to do!

A little bit of extra info: you can keep the car that you need to deliver for more missions in your storage facility too, it doesn’t matter where or how many cars are stored there. I tried it out with a few other cars i had delivered and they all got accepted by Lester without giving me another mission for them. Also, I don’t know if you can store any car, but it worked for me with all of them.

To gain levels, you need experience. There are many ways to get experience. There are at least 13 different types of activities that will give you bonus GTA$ and RP. Also, if you want to make the world go away without getting killed you can use the mouse wheel to do this. If you hold down shift and press your call sign in your contacts list it will give you a little distance between yourself and whoever you are about to get into an argument with.
